The Stonemasonry Company Limited is a U.K. based group of dedicated master craftsmen who for nearly ten years have been specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke natural stone staircases. Building on the ancient heritage of stone masonry, the company is pioneering new methods and establishing new limits on what can be achieved in stone.

“We have looked back at nearly 600 years of stone staircases to reintroduce to the architect and designer the beauty of stone staircases,” said Senior Project Manager and Creative Director Pierre Bidaud. Their award-winning and utterly unique floating post-tensioned stone staircases, designed by their experienced designers, marry traditional hand chiseling with modern engineering to stunning effect.
